Description
Wintery tour to the white forest!
Enjoy our small snow shoeing trip to the forests of Järvisydän with our guide. The route is easy to walk and the walking distance is approx. 1 km. During the trip our guide tells you the stories of the history of Järvisydän and the area. On the campfire you can learn how to make a fire in the nature and you can make e.g. some local sausages on fire with our guide. Please notice that the trip is possible when there is enough snow!
When there is not enough snow for snowshoeing we go hiking to the camp fire!
Itinerary
Snowshoe trip:
16.00 Meet the guide at the Safari House
-Gear up and get ready for the tour.
-Tour in the wintery forest of Porosalmi. During the excursion we'll stop at the wild outdoor camp to have a snack.
18.00 Return to the Safari House
Wear outdoor clothes suitable for the weather!
