Our reindeer roam freely in the surrounding forest and often wander close to the kota, giving you the chance to observe them naturally while relaxing by the fire.Together we'll prepare traditional Finnish pancakes (muurinpohjaletut) over the open fire and enjoy them with cloudberry jam and warm bilberry juice. You'll also taste a selection of local Lappish delicacies, including freshly baked cinnamon buns, Lappish squeaky cheese (leip\u00e4juusto), and cold-smoked reindeer wraps (rieska).As we gather around the fire, we'll share stories about reindeer herding, local traditions, and everyday life in Finnish Lapland. This is an evening for slowing down, asking questions, and enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Arctic wilderness.Step outside and look up. In autumn and winter, thousands of stars shine above the forest, the moon lights up the snowy landscape, and, if we're lucky, the Northern Lights dance across the sky. During the bright summer nights, the Midnight Sun gives way to the gentle sounds of birdsong and the vibrant life of the surrounding nature.The stars, the moon, and the Northern Lights are gifts of nature, and no one can promise when they will appear.
