Description
Three canal boat cruise goes through Keitele lake district from Varjola resort to Jyväskyä city harbour.
The Keitele canal links lakes Päijänne and Keitele via numerous small lakes and sets of locks. The journey also takes in the famous rock paintings at Saraakallio, and features not only great rural scenery but also some narrow navigation passages. Cruise goes through three locks, which are Vaajakoski, Kuhankoski and Kuusaa.
You can enjoy sun deck and sceneries along the journey and restaurant services in the vessel. Large vessels have their own kitchen where meals are prepared from the finest locally-sourced ingredients.
Itinerary
Boat cruise takes you through magnificent Lakeland area from Varjola to Jyväskylä city harbour by M/S Suomen neito -vessel.
Cruise starts at 2 pm and arrives to Jyväskylä city harbour at 5.30 pm. Mini van transfer departs back to Varjola resort from Jyväskylä city harbour at 8 pm. Free time to explore Jyväskylä city is from 5.30 to 8 pm (2,5 hours)
