    Description

    Introduction to cross-country skiing!

    Saariselkä is a cross-country skier’s paradise, and with the help of our professional ski instructors, learning is safe and fun! You can easily get to Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort with SkiBus or by foot – and once you get to the Service Centre, our staff will help you all the way. Our certified ski instructors guide you from selecting and using the equipment to learning traditional style technique and giving tips on how to keep practicing on your own.

    • 105 minutes of group instruction for cross-country (Nordic) skiing
    • Cross-country skis, poles and boots for 2 hours

    Please note

    The Easy Cross-country group lesson is suitable for beginners only. If you're a more advanced cross-country skier and wish to have more technique training, please book a private lesson by contacting us via email info@skisaariselka.fi.

    Please make sure you arrive to the Service Centre minimum 40 minutes before the lesson if you need equipment. If you have your own equipment, you will meet our instructor outside in front of the Service Centre next to "Hiihtokoulu" sign 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

    Essentials to pack for an activity

    Participants are expected to have suitable winter clothing and gloves for active winter sports, snow wear (overalls, jackets and pants) are available for rent and beanies, gloves and balaclavas are for sale at our Ski Shop for an extra fee.
