ICE FISHING SAFARI
We ride through snow covered forest to a fish-rich secluded lake. Upon arrival to the lake we drill a hole in the ice and try our luck with Lappish fishing.

Description
In winter, a thick layer of ice separates us from the fish in the lakes, but by drilling a hole in the ice, we can cast a lure underwater and start fooling the fish. We drive from Levi through snow-covered forests to the lake, where we test our fishing skills. If you are lucky, you can have a dinner of home-caught fish. While fishing, we'll have seom coffee or hot juice.
The length of safari is ca. 25 km and its duration is approx. 3-4 hours.

Included
Safari price includes snowmobile gear/clothing, petrol, guide and drinks and food according to safari description as well as VAT.

Snowmobile driver must have a valid driver's license (minimum class T) with them on during the safari.
Safety and driving instructions are demonstrated before every safari and customer is obligated to follow the instructions of the guide.
Children taller than 130 cm can sit as a passenger behind his/her parent/guide on a snowmobile when paying adult price. Smaller children ride in a covered
sleigh pulled by the guide.
Snowmobiling is a physical sport, it is not recommended for people with disability. It is possible to join the safari as a passenger in a sleigh, please contact Tokka Safaris for more information.
Riding under the influence of alcohol or other substances is prohibited. Refund will not be made in case we have to deny participation due to this matter.
Essentials to pack for an activity
Driver's licence
Wear flexible high collar thermal wear under the snowmobile clothing (pants, jacket, boots, balaclava, helmet) we provide you (long thermal underwear, thermal / woollen socks, loose-fitting, fleece, wool or similar on top)
