    ICE FISHING SAFARI

    We ride through snow covered forest to a fish-rich secluded lake. Upon arrival to the lake we drill a hole in the ice and try our luck with Lappish fishing.

    We ride through snow covered forest to a fish-rich secluded lake. Upon arrival to the lake we drill a hole in the ice and try our luck with Lappish fishing. We warm ourselves up with hot drinks and barbeque sausages by an open fire. Afterwards we head back to Levi – hopefully with many fish as souvenirs from this arctic adventure.

    The length of safari is ca. 25 km and its duration is approx. 3-4 hours.

    Safari price includes snowmobile gear/clothing, petrol, guide and drinks and food according to safari description as well as VAT.

    Pick up/drop off service can be arranged for extra fee.

    Snowmobile driver must have a valid driver's license (minimum class T) with them on during the safari. 

    Safety and driving instructions are demonstrated before every safari and customer is obligated to follow the instructions of the guide.

    Children taller than 130 cm can sit as a passenger behind his/her parent/guide on a snowmobile when paying adult price. Smaller children ride in a covered
    sleigh pulled by the guide. 

    Snowmobiling is a physical sport, it is not recommended for people with disability. It is possible to join the safari as a passenger in a sleigh, please contact Tokka Safaris for more information.

    Riding under the influence of alcohol or other substances is prohibited. Refund will not be made in case we have to deny participation due to this matter.   

    Essentials to pack for an activity

    Driver's licence

    Wear flexible high collar thermal wear under the snowmobile clothing (pants, jacket, boots, balaclava, helmet) we provide you (long thermal underwear, thermal / woollen socks, loose-fitting, fleece, wool or similar on top)
