A joyful day including riverboat cruise to a local reindeer farm and by car to handicraft workshop and Santa Claus Village

This day is filled with the magic of Lapland. Starting out on a riverboat that takes you to your first destination by the river Ounasjoki. Boat will take you to the reindeer farm located by the river. At the farm you will become familiar with reindeer herding, hear more about reindeer life, learn how to use reindeer lasso ‘suopunki’ and before heading back to boat you will enjoy a Lappish lunch.
At Afternoon the day continues by car to discover what's inside the wooden walls of a traditional Lappish home, as a local family warmly welcomes you to their home and a handicraft workshop. After the visit you will head to the Santa Claus Village, where you will have an opportunity to meet the most famous Finn, Santa Claus himself. Take your time to wander around the village dotted with Finnish design and souvenir shops.
