There is no better way than this to experience the inner Turku archipelago! During this relaxed and enjoyable guided trip arranged each Friday, you will experience some of the beautiful Turku and Naantali archipelago kayaking.
We will adjust the pace and length of the trip according with the group and weather. For those new to or less experienced in sea kayaking, we will get you going with the fundamentals of the sport in order to make the afternoon 100% perfect.
This summer evening archipelago sea kayaking tour starts from our small Satava Kayak & SUP paddleshack at Satava island (Kakskerrantie 680), easily reachable by bus (20 minutes), car (15 minutes) or bicycle (40 minutes) from Turku center.
The total length of this evening trip is 3,5 hours. All kayaking equipment and a skilled guide are included in the price.
Itinerary
We will meet on Ekvalla sandy beach, come to our Satava Kayak & SUP paddleshack at the corner of the beach.
- There is a free parking place by our Satava Kayak & SUP shed.
- If coming by public tranportation, buses 14, 15A and 15B from Turku center are great options and will take you to us in 15 minutes. Credit card payment accepted on the bus. See schedules here.
Itinerary
Before launching the kayaks, we go through some hints for safe and effective kayaking on the shore, pack the kayaks, and dress the spraydecks and buoyancy aids provided by Aavameri. Once on the water, we make a relaxed kayaking tour according with the participants' skills and the weather. We get to experience some of the quiet Naantali and Turku archipelago and will only spend the first few minutes in the beginning and the end of the tour close to the more busy shores of Turku. We get back to the starting beach a bit before 20:30.
