    In Tankavaara, in the middle of Lapland’s magical landscape, stands the only international Gold Museum in the world. Gold prospectors have been searching for gold in Lapland for 150 years and in Tankavaara Gold Village they still continue this unique culture by sharing the secrets of gold panning with visitors. Discover the legends of Lapland’s colourful gold history and learn about gold prospecting traditions from all around the world. Join the guided tour of annually changing exhibitions and try your luck at gold panning - you can keep all the gold that you find!
