The experience is approximately 5 hours long. When paddling on the river, one canoe can carry up to two adults and one child. Especially on dry summers the river water may be rather low. Our guides will assist the participants in case of any bottom contacts so that they do not need to get off the canoe.

In the half point we will have nice relaxing break and enjoy some snacks.

If you wish, you may rent kayaks or canoes directly from us and head out for this trip independently. In this case, our guide will take you to the starting point of the trip, provide you with needed equipment and information, and then meet you again at the finish. Renting gear does not include snacks.

Starting time is flexible and in summer the trip can also take place during nighttime. If the suggested start time is not suitable, please let us know by email.

Pickups

Pickups start 30 minutes before scheduled experience starting time. Choose your pickup place during reservation.

If you do not need a pickup: Arrive to the starting location at Pyhäntie 865, 98500 Pyhätunturi by the time of the scheduled start of the experience. This is where the canoes are stored.
