Rosala

One of Finland's southernmost inhabited islands
The Rosala Viking Center presents the Iron Age of the archipelago in a variety of ways and offers unforgettable experiences for those who want to try the Viking life. Versatile accommodation options: cottages, EcoCamp, reconstructed Viking dwellings or a luxury villa.

The Hiittinen public school building, which is over 100 years old, has a charming library, a village information point and a shop selling local handicrafts. The magnificent sandy beach of Gröndalen is a hidden gem for those who seek for beach life.

The perfect destination to connect into the *Coastal Route*: disembark at Hittinen and cycle 9 km to Rosala or vice versa! Bike and kayak rentals are also available on the island.

The village "living room" Backom Café and pub is open for a long time from Easter to late autumn. If you haven’t experienced the unique beach restaurant at the local Rousal Brygghus brewery yet, now is the time! Next door there is also a Bottle Shop selling drinks and a bakery selling local Rosala loaf.

In co-operation with Visit Naantali, we welcome You to Hiittinen & Rosala!
