Syöte National Park for is made for families. From Syöte Visitor Centre you can rent snow shoes, a child backpack carrier and a child pulling sledge for winter fun. The snow covered spruces are magnificently beautiful and looks a bit like a troll. Take a walk in one of our nice day trip huts like Annintupa. Explore Syöte with all senses!
The wild wooded hills of Syöte provide an ideal setting for many adventures. Ski through the magical snow-covered winter forests, or pedal up and down along the park’s fine fatbiking routes. The log cabin sauna at Ahmatupa in the heart of the park is a great place to soothe your body and soul. Go on an active holiday over the wooded hills and enjoy outdoor life!
The Syöte Visitor Centre, which is located deep in an old-growth forest, boasts a fascinating exhibition that presents the natural features and cultural history of the area. The day’s newspapers and a wlan network are available free of charge. A film “Forest Wilderness”, created from the photographs of Jorma Luhta, fascinates also children. The visitor centre provides up-to-date hiking tips making it easy to have an active holiday in this landscape of wooded hills.
