Ironworks village
The Taalintehdas and its inhabitants lived side by side with the iron industry for over 330 years. The coexistence gave birth to millions of iron, but also a beautiful ironworks village and a story-rich ironworks history. As you walk through the Taalintehdas, you will see signs of iron making everywhere. Visit the Ironworks Museum and let a guided village tour shed light on the history of the area.

Rent a bicycle and visit Söderlångvik Manor in just 20 minutes! Salt pearls or fabulous lake landscapes - the location of the village between the sea and the two lakes guarantees unforgettable excursions. If you want to experience the archipelago at its best, hop aboard a free connecting boat, book a place on a cruise or rent a sailboat from the harbor and head out to sea.

Canoeing along the canals between the curd mosses on Lake Stora Masugnsträsket in a wilderness atmosphere is a fascinating experience. In summer you can rent a canoe from the guest marina office, and in spring and autumn from the Wahlsten shop.

In co-operation with Visit Naantali, we welcome You to Taalintehdas!
